Basement Sessions is a music label and podcast series based in Tbilisi, founded by Georgian DJ Jasperjones.
This artwork was created for their second CD compilation - a collection of dancefloor-driven tracks from artists around the world. The illustration continues a visual concept initiated by Jasperjones: a series of powerful female characters who wield CDs like weapons.
For this release, I designed a new character equipped with two discs, mid-throw - representing the energy and progression of the project. The bold, custom typeface was developed specifically for this compilation, adding to its unique and playful identity.
